The local sewer system in Schlitz-Unterschwarz was realised as a separate sewer network in four phases. An economic and ecological solution was found with the short inlets to the local receiving water system in the town. The collected drain water is conveyed by a dry-standing pump station through a culvert under the River Fulda to the sewage treatment plant.
